About Storey Lake Resort Kissimmee, FL
When I purchased our home in Storey Lake Resort, I was surprised about how little information there was for guests and owners. I hope this short guide helps answer some frequently asked questions about Storey Lake Resort.
Where is Storey Lake Resort located?
Storey Lake is one of the newest resort communities in the Orlando Florida area. The Resort is located at the corner of State Road (SR535) - also known as Kissimmee-Vineland Road - and Osceola Parkway. Storey Lake is close to all of the major attractions of Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld.
How far is Storey Lake Resort from Disney World?
Storey Lake is only 11 minutes from Walt Disney World. Directions from the sales office are here in this link. You can take West Osceola Parkway and the distance is approximately 7 miles. Traffic is heaviest around 5pm and park closing hours.
How far is Storey Lake Resort from Universal Studios and Volcano Bay?
Storey Lake is under 30 minutes from Universal Studios and Volcano Bay. The distance is 11.5 miles. You can view google maps directions here.
How far is Storey Lake Resort from the Orlando International Airport (MCO)?
Storey Lake Resort is approximately 22 miles from Orlando MCO and about a 30 minute drive. You can take FL 417 Toll-South towards Disney and get off at exit 3 onto W Osceola Parkway. You will then turn right on Storey Lake Blvd and you are here! Directions from Orlando International Airport are here.
How far is Storey Lake Resort from Seaworld and Aquatica?
Storey Lake Resort is approximately 11 miles from Seaworld and Aquatica and you can get there in between 15-20 minutes by I-4 East. Directions are here.
Can I rent a Storey Lake Resort vacation rental on Airbnb or VRBO?

A lot of the new construction is sold out and there are waiting list, but for resales I do know of some really great agents I have worked with and I am happy to share. There is a Target less than 5 minutes away. The address is 4795 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746 and it is open from 8am to midnight.
Is there a Publix near Storey Lake Resort?
Lucky for you, there is a Publix just a little over a mile (5 minutes) from Storey Lake at Sunrise Plaza. At Sunrise Plaza there is also a TJ Max, Chipotle, Wendy's, Five Below, and Five Guys Burgers and Fries. The address for Publix Super Market at Sunrise City Plaza 3221 Vineland Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34746.

Hideaway club is open at 9am and closes at 9pm daily.

Does Storey Lake have a shuttle service?
No, there is no scheduled transportation provided through the resort. However, you may use any private transportation or ridesharing service of your choice.
Is the Storey Lake pool heated?
Yes, the pool and lazy river are heated year round as are the spas. Temperature may vary, but it is not extremely hot.
What are the pool hours of operation at Storey Lake Resort?
The pool opens at 9am and closes at 9pm daily. Hours are subject to change.
Are there any height requirements for the waterslides?
Riders must be at least 36" tall and only one rider allowed on at a time for safety.
